Raksha Bandhan is a day for brothers and Sister to shows their bonds of affection.This festival is celebrate in Hindu religion. It is count in one of the most important festival in Nepal and India.

Sisters tie colourful threads called Rakhi on their brothers wrists and put tika on brother forehead and praying for them to live a long life.Brothers in return shows theirs love by giving gifts to their sisters like Jewellery,Clothing etc and promise their sister to protect them throughout their lives. In families who have only boys or only girls,a friend or a relative acts as a brother or sisterin this day. This day was celebrate with Joy,happiness or by eating sweet dishes.Rakhi was made from few colourful cotton or silk threads or something silver or gold threads.Rakhi is a symbol f protection against evil.
